The aim of the project is to provide the tools for empowering young people and youth workers to tackle the climate crisis and offer greener solutions through the use of Participatory Video and Dialogue. The consortium will adopt a youth-led participatory approach to increase youth participation in climate action and policy participation, in order to highlight the role of young people as active agents of change in their communities.

The project Youth-centered Participatory Video and Dialogue as a tool for empowering young people to tackle climate crisis and offer greener solutions with the acronym GREENVIDIALOGUE, is a European funded project catered for the youth and youth workers interested about climate action. Through the participatory action methodology, the project will develop a youth-centered tool of Participatory Video, which will empower young people to become active agents of change combating climate change in their communities. These tools will also be used to strengthen the youth workers’ professional development in tackling pressing environmental issues in their work with youth.

Project Objectives:

1) To build knowledge and raise awareness among youth about the European Climate strategies and targets

2) To enhance the capacities of youth workers to promote youth climate activisim using media pedagogies and participatory video tools.

3) To adopt a youth-led participatory approach through co-creation methods

4) To increase cross sectoral and transnational cooperation to promote inclsive climate action and policy participation among you

1) A GreenVidialogue curriculum for youth workers

2) A GreenViDialogue eToolbox for youth dialogue and media skill development

3) A multilingual GreenViDialogue Mobile Application & Digital Showroom with an educational pack and the youth Participatory Videos.

4) 6 Competition Events “Pitching your Participatory Video Climate Challenge / Mission”

5) 1 Final “European Youth-Led Climate Participatory Video Festival” in Spain
